June 10, Convergent Media Laboratory Seminar: “Digital Signal Processing Based Robot Navigation“
Date: 10:00-10:30, June 10 (Mon), 2013
Place: Convergent Media Lab room (entrance floor, building D)
Title: Digital Signal Processing Based Robot Navigation
Speaker: Dr. Kosin Chamnongthai
Associate Professor in the King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand
Abstract:
To make the robot autonomously move and work instead of human in our society, navigation is one of the most crucial functions that robot creators have to consider. Robot navigation needs safety, accuracy and real time processing. Navigation system comprises sensor, signal processor, and algorithms. In this talk, some algorithms and applications using digital signal processing are introduced such as white-dash –line following robot, omni-directinal sensor using robot, robo-cup, and so on.
